Each center stone comes with a cerfiticate of authenticity from Charles & Colvard and is laser inscribed with a corresponding number as shown on the certificate. Charles and Colvard introduced this moissanite to the jewelry market and for years had a patent on it's production. Recently, however, the patent expired and there are a variety of moissanite manufacturers available.
